How much will I get?

This depends on the degree of injury suffered and the effects that your injury has upon your ability to live and work. Whilst it is difficult to advise exactly how much your injury is worth until a medical report has been obtained, it is always possible to provide an outline assessment. In respect of your other losses, the best advice is to save all papers and receipts for everything from the very start and I can then advise as your claim progresses. What do I have to pay?

As with most personal injury solicitors, I work on a 'no win, no fee' basis (formerly called a Conditional Fee Agreement or CFA). Put simply, if I succeed in getting compensation for you, then I get paid by the other person's insurer. And if I don't succeed for you, then I don't get paid! The Government introduced CFAs to personal injury claims in order to encourage solicitors to share the risk of the claim with the claimant. .

How long will it take?

How long is a piece of string?! Quite simply, it will take as long as it takes, but there are many stages of the claim where, by being on the ball, it is possible to avoid unnecessary delays. My aim is to offer you the kind of service that I would like to receive myself and hence I will do everything I can towards getting your compensation as quickly as practically possible. .

Can I get an interim payment?

Whether or not you can get an interim payment will depend initially upon the other side's insurer accepting liability for the accident and then, upon the evidence of the money for which you are claiming. For example, if it is loss of earnings then you will need to be able to provide wage slips for a period prior to the accident and some form of medical evidence to show that you are unable to work because of the injury. Interim payments for damaged vehicles are usually quicker to sort out..

Who will deal with my claim?

I seek to offer a personal service where only I deal with your claim and answer your queries. I am a sole- practitioner and employ no staff. I do everything including making the tea!
